DESCRIPTION

The Wendelstein is a 1,838-metre high mountain in the Bavarian Alps in South Germany. It belongs to the eastern part of the Bavarian Pre-Alps. It is the highest peak in the Wendelstein massif.

TRANSPORTS

Direct train from Munich to Geitau with a BOB Ticket. That train is often crowded, it is better to get in the train at the first station (Bayrischzell) at the end of the day, which is why Geitau to Bayrischzell is better than the other way round.
